Lauren Anderson, DMD


Biography

Dr. Anderson is a highly skilled and dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who completed her training at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. With a strong foundation in both clinical and academic excellence, Dr. Anderson is passionate about advancing the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) and providing exceptional care to her patients.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she cultivated a deep understanding of dental and medical sciences. Following her dental education, Dr. Anderson completed a General Practice Residency at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center followed by an Advanced Clinical Simulation Fellowship at the same institution, where she further honed her clinical expertise.

Dr. Anderson’s commitment to leadership and academic achievement is evident through her previous role as the Chief Resident in her OMFS residency program. She has also been recognized for her excellence in research, having received the “Most Outstanding Presentation in Basic Science Research” award at the 2017 Hinman Student Research Symposium.

In addition to her academic and professional accomplishments, Dr. Anderson is also an accomplished athlete, having been named an All-American in Track and Field in 2015. She remains dedicated to an active lifestyle, regularly participating in road races and triathlons, and enjoys hiking and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dr. Anderson’s diverse background and commitment to both clinical care and research make her a compassionate and driven professional in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
