Mark A. Green, DDS, MD


Biography

Dr. Mark A. Green is a board eligible Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Harvard-Massachusetts General Hospital residency program where he served as the chief resident in his last year. During his time at MGH, he obtained his MD degree from Harvard Medical School and completed rotations in general surgery, critical care medicine and anesthesia. In his final four months, Dr. Green trained at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he focused on pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as craniofacial deformities.

Dr. Green obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from Boston College. At BC, he was a member of the varsity swim team and was recognized for his academic achievements on the Academic All-ACC team. He went on to receive his dental degree at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholar award and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society of Omicron Kappa Epsilon. Dr. Green also volunteered with Kids International Dental Service, providing care for underserved children in the Philippines.

Dr. Green takes pride in his application of technology when caring for his patients, including the use of virtual surgical planning, guided surgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques. His clinical interests include pediatrics, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, craniofacial and orthognathic surgery. He currently has hospital privileges at Lowell General Hospital and Winchester Hospital.

In his spare time Dr. Green enjoys golfing, walks with his dog Hunter, and traveling with his wife Courtney.  He is excited to join Merrimack Valley Oral Surgeons and continue the tradition of providing excellent care to the community.
